At Dawn of the Dog, I offer a range of flexible and personalized services designed to meet your pet's unique needs, all within the comfort and familiarity of a home setting. My approach is centered on individual attention, ensuring your dog feels loved and secure. This is my full time job so I will always be present.
Daycare
Perfect for busy days or while your at work, my daily daycare ensures your dog gets regular potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of love. I typically have 2-6 dogs daily with some days getting up to 10 pups.
walk/check in
Beyond just a walk, I offer invigorating adventure walks tailored to your dog's energy level. Explore local parks or enjoy a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood. During this time I can also retrieve mail, water plants, feed, give fresh water, scoop litter, brush, or give any needed medications.
Overnight stays in my home
My overnight stays provide your dog with continuous companionship and care in a cozy, spacious 1800sq ft 1950's home with fenced backyard in a neighborhood right off the interstate exit by Nashville general hospital in north Nashville. Pets are welcome to sleep wherever they would like including my bed, provided dog pets, or any couches. I only kennel if the clients instruct me too for bedtime.
Specialized care
I cater to all pets with unique needs, including seniors, kittens/puppies, or those requiring medication. My care extends to exotics as well. My attentive care ensures all specific requirements are met with compassion. In addition to specialized care, I also offer a structured routine that promotes enrichment and mental stimulation for your pets. Engaging pets in interactive play or providing them with puzzles not only keeps them active but also nurtures their happiness and overall well-being. By understanding the individual personalities and preferences of each pet, I create a customized schedule that balances exercise, playtime, and rest, ensuring that every pet feels fulfilled and loved during their time with me.
